Local NPOs are still welcome to submit their winter wish lists of five items they are most in need of.
The NPOs can email their lists to taylas@caxton.co.za.
Remember to include the NPO’s name, where the organisation is based and contact details.

Victory Outreach (men’s recovery home in Reiger Park)
Non-perishable food, meat, vegetables, clothes for men and women, transport (bakkie or van) and furniture. Daniel: 074 439 2844
Alcra Rescue
Canned wet dog food, sawdust, pine gel, bleach or any general cleaning products, plastic drums and pallets to raise some of the kennels off the ground.
Tshepo Ya Sechaba (promotes and protects the rights of the elderly and vulnerable)
Transport support, branded winter uniforms, refreshments and office supplies such as printers, computers and stationery. Contact: 082 427 3864
Urban Ruins
Non-perishable food, baby formula and bottles, blankets, winter clothing, and cleaning products. Contact: 081 747 0833.
Community of Hope Multi-purpose Centre
New or gently used blankets, non-perishable foods, cooking utensils and stationary and warm clothing.
Thusang Community Development
Food/groceries, pads, school shoes, computer, printer and clothes. Contact 071 675 8555.
Masizakhe Family Centre
Fleece throws, socks, groceries, beanies, and sport equipment. Contact: 073 8411 238
Aruka Foundation
Blankets, non-perishable food, baby nappies, a bakkie, warm clothing. Call: 071 869 6354.
Flock of God (FOG)
Non-perishable food, blankets, second-hand warm shoes, toys, and toiletries. Call: 073 161 6523.
