R25 can win you a liquor hamper and help two boys in need

The Urban Ruins team is thrilled to announce an initiative to support two young men in their community, and they are inviting you to be part of it.

Clayton Viljoen of Urban Ruins said they have launched a raffle fundraiser that will close on June 15, with an amazing R1 000 Liquor City voucher up for grabs.
“Tickets are just R25 each, and if you purchase four tickets, you get one free. But more than a prize, this is an opportunity to make a tangible difference in two young lives.

“We’re raising R3 000 to buy winter clothes for two of our brightest youth members – a 15-year-old Grade Eight learner and a 17-year-old Grade 12 learner.
“Both are top A-students who continue to impress us with their dedication, hard work, and kindness.

“If you’ve attended any of our previous events, chances are you’ve already met these inspiring boys. They are at the heart of Urban Ruins – always helping, always present.”

Viljoen said despite their spirit and achievements, both boys are in urgent need of proper winter clothing.

“Their current clothes are worn, outdated, and too small for their growing bodies. This fundraiser is about more than clothing. It’s about giving these champions of our community the simple dignity and joy of choosing their own warm, new clothes – something they’ve never experienced before.

“These boys are very dear to me and the Urban Ruins team. Please help us spoil them this winter. Join us in making this happen. Buy a ticket, or buy four. Every contribution takes us one step closer to our R3 000 goal.”
