World Cleanup Day 2025: Step up to tackle Boksburg Lake trash

Boksburg Lake Clean-up — Join the initiative to tackle the growing waste crisis at the Boksburg Lake, for the observance of World Cleanup Day.

September 20 marks the observance of World Cleanup Day 2025, and the aim is to encourage millions of individuals and organisations around the world to unite to tackle the growing waste crisis.

To mark the day in Boksburg, Philip Morris Company in collaboration with Ward 32 Clr Marius de Vos are inviting locals to join them for the planned Boksburg Lake clean-up on Friday, September 19.
Picking up trash will take place between 09:00 and 11:00. Bring your gloves, energy and a smile.
Lunch will be sponsored by Philip Morris.
