Protea Stage Productions held its AGM on February 7, a precursor to what the team describes as a productive year ahead.
They already have a full-length musical in the pipeline for later this year.
“We are excited to entertain Benoni again with shows they will never forget, while our free theatre academy educates and trains upcoming stars,” said chairperson Lynsay Jonker.
Have you got storage space for them?
The theatre troupe needs urgent assistance from the community.
“Our warehouse in Springs was severely damaged in a hail storm towards the end of November, so we’re appealing for workshop or warehouse space where we can store our props and sets,” Lynsay explained.
For more information about Protea Stage Productions and the theatre academy, or if you are able to assist with storage space, contact Lynsay on 062 588 5284.
