“The turnout showed that residents are united and committed to finding solutions to the challenges facing our community,” a resident said.
While traffic was slightly delayed along parts of the route, police kept an eye on the march to protect both participants and drivers.
Residents expressed hope that the memoranda would be given careful thought and that the relevant government ministries would take real action in response to the issues addressed.
Leaders in the community thanked everyone for their peaceful participation and urged locals to keep cooperating to create a better and safer Vosloorus.
