JUST IN: Four current and former Ekurhuleni officials arrested in corruption probe

The Boksburg Advertiser understands that the SAPS Commission’s Recommendations Task Team arrested four senior current and former City of Ekurhuleni officials overnight as part of an ongoing corruption investigation.

Among those arrested is the city’s suspended head of legal services, Advocate Kemi Behari. The suspects are expected to appear in court this morning.

According to other media reports, former Ekurhuleni city manager Imogen Mashazi has been instructed to present herself at her nearest police station.
