Boksburg SPCA is delighted to be one of the beneficiaries of Residential Network Systems (RNS’s) charity golf day held last year at the State Mines Country Club.
The official handover took place at the society on February 14.
RNS donated a 5 000l water tank to the society and supplied the pump, the piping and installation for this tank at the top kennels as well as for the two Kena Foundation tanks donated earlier this year.
Furthermore, the group donated an imported pressure steam sterilisation unit for the society’s instruments. The value of the donation is about R50 000.
According to RNS CEO Nico du Plessis, they organised charity golf days for the last 20 years.
“Our mission is to give back to the communities we serve, which includes Boksburg, Benoni and Brakpan every year. We focus on community projects where there is a big need. We’ve had wonderful support from the community and every cent goes directly to the community.”
Boksburg SPCA manager Vicky Finnemore expressed her gratitude to RNS for the support.
“One of our top priorities with so many animals on the property is water security. We’re humbled and thankful for this wonderful donation.”
