Gas tanker explosion: Chaplains honoured for helping blast victims

Offering counselling to victims, families as well as first responders, the chaplains have offered invaluable support to the Plantation community at large.

As news broke on December 24 of the gas tanker explosion in Boksburg, members of the Chaplains on Board Initiative (COBI), of Rynfield, jumped into action to provide much-needed support to those affected by the blast.

Offering counselling to victims and their families as well as first responders, the chaplains have continued to offer invaluable support to the Plantation community at large.

During their ordination ceremony on February 19, members of The Humanity Foundation (HF) took the time to give thanks to these selfless individuals for their tireless efforts over the past six weeks.
