Shining a light on the heroes close to us

A masterclass in personal development by a professional life coach is up for grabs,

Jungle South Africa has partnered with SA’s favourite talent for a Jungle Heart to Heart campaign that invites the people of Mzansi to open up and celebrate those who make a difference in their lives and always put their hearts into everything they do.

Marketing director Lee-Anne Govender explained the Jungle Heart to Heart campaign shows us that our success is not an individual achievement.

“We’ve all had people in our lives who encouraged us to do our best and be our best – whether family, friends, children, or colleagues. These individuals are fundamental to how one views setbacks and victories,” she said.

“Having been a part of the lives of South Africans for over 100 years, Jungle knows the value of family and strong social ties. The campaign uses social media to showcase good, to spread moments that fuel our hearts, showcasing the big-heartedness of South Africans where one person’s story can change the lives of millions.”

When asked what motivated the brand to create this initiative, Govender said Jungle has always been about South Africans who put their hearts into everything they do.

“We know the sum of the parts is bigger than the part itself. Covid taught us we’re stronger and better together, and it’s time to share positive stories of community spirit in a very challenging time.

“Food and Jungle continue to be the social glue that helps to unite and connect us in simple yet profound ways. In those moments of togetherness, we get a place and time where we share unforgettable advice and do life with heart.”

Driving the stories of heart and the campaign competition with Jungle are the country’s most celebrated media and digital personalities – Connie Ferguson, Juanita Khumalo, and Thapelo Mokoena.

With a memorable breakfast experience or a masterclass in personal development by a professional life coach up for grabs, Jungle will select the best stories of encouragement and inspiration shared by the public.

To enter the competition, all South Africans have to do is share a picture or video of the person who is always in their corner and share their words of encouragement.

“Jungle reminds us of what it means to be part of a community, at work, at school, or at home. Always remember to do life with a heart. #DoLifeWithHeart,” Govender concluded.
