Donate to help Boksburg crash victims
The victims of the crash need your help to get better treatment.
Tamara Wallis pleads for donations to help her relatives recently involved in a deadly truck collision in Boksburg.
The accident, which claimed a life and left three others critically injured, happened on Trichardts Road on April 2.
When the crash occurred, Shelby Wallis was in a light motor vehicle with her children, six-week-old Dante and 17-month-old Divan, and her 39-year-old mother, Chareen Kraft. Dante died on arrival at the hospital from head injuries.
Divan, who suffered hip injuries, was taken to a private hospital.
Chareen suffered a broken hip, arms and legs and would require orthopaedic care, while Shelby sustained a deep cut between her knee and upper thigh.
They are both recovering in Tambo Memorial Hospital.
According to Tamara, they all need more treatment, and she would like to see Chareen and Shelby moved to the same private hospital as Divan.
“Being so far apart from each other is not helping their recovery. We want to ensure good medical care, rehabilitation, and trauma counselling for them,” said Tamara.
“I hope to raise at least R300 000 to help the victims get the treatment they need.”
Almost R18 000 has been raised to date.
