Do you have faith in the police?

The Boksburg Advertiser asked a few locals if they still trust the police after it came to light that hundreds of EMPD officers have criminal records.

Margaret Bonaparte: Yes, but they must just get rid of the corrupt officers who are not here to serve the community.

Balushi Semele: I’m optimistic about our police officers, but there is a bad batch that should be removed from the force.

Güter Prinsloo: Not at all. Most officers only use the badge to make money instead of serving and protecting the community.

Heidi Engelbrecht: I don’t have faith in the police because of issues such as their response time. I now rely on security companies.
