The company said the project was part of restoration efforts for the hospital following the gas tanker explosion in 2022.

Tambo Memorial Hospital boasts new internal and external signage worth R1.5m.

This is thanks to the Republic of Mozambique Pipeline Investments Company (ROMPCO), which pledged funds towards the hospital’s recovery after the gas tanker explosion on December 24, 2022.

A handing-over ceremony was held on March 1 in celebration of the completion of the project. Guests went on an oversight visit to view the signage.
