Seniors enjoy Mad Hatter’s Walk
The village aims to hold a walk once a month to motivate residents to be more active.
The Trans-50 Witfield Park Retirement Village recently held a cheerful Mad Hatter’s Walk for its residents.
According to the village’s lifestyle consultant, Lesché Lombaard, they try to hold one walk monthly to motivate the residents to be more active.

Witfield Park’s care practitioners also walked with the care centre residents.
Lombaard said they wanted to involve the residents as much as possible.
“Even though they couldn’t physically exercise, they could see the beautiful gardens.”
