"It’s time for men to take charge of their health and break the stigma around seeking help."

Movember is an annual event involving the growing of moustaches during November to raise awareness of men’s health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer and suicide. The Advertiser asked a few locals why they support the initiative.

Mike Ribi: I fully support the Movember movement because it’s an incredibly important cause. Men need to take their health seriously and prioritise it. It’s crucial that we break the stigma and encourage open conversations about men’s health year-round.
Chandra Paralkar: I’m fully behind Movember because it’s a vital cause. The movement plays a crucial role in raising awareness about men’s health. It’s time for men to take charge of their health and break the stigma around seeking help.
Jesby Sigwili: I support Movember. It’s important for men to take care of their health. Men often neglect their health and that is why this movement is so important.
