Cheer Fund once again exceeds target
The society is grateful for the community's support towards the project.
Another year, another successful Christmas Cheer Fund for the Boksburg SPCA.
Boksburg SPCA is delighted that its annual Cheer Fund again exceeded its target, with R119 015 raised.
The fund opened in November, intending to raise R100 000.
This year’s projects include spay cradles, a clinic theatre light, dry and wet cat and dog food, cat carriers and traps, dog crates, collars, leashes and medical supplies, which will start soon.
Donations of all amounts streamed in, including one of R50 000.
SPCA secretary Sue Beadon expressed her gratitude towards towards those who supported the initiative.
“Your donations will enable us to undertake the projects identified this year, improving the lives of many animals in our care and community.”
