The Progressive Pastors Council of SA (PPCSA) president, Bishop Mnikelo Mazamisa and the Palestine deputy ambassador Bassam Elhussiny participated in a wreath-laying ceremony in honour of the late ANC president Oliver Reginald Tambo and his wife, Adelaide, at Tamboville Cemetery in Wattville on January 26.
Mazamisa and Elhussiny appeared solemn as they placed the flowers on Tambo’s grave before kneeling down in respect of the anti-apartheid politician.
Hosted by the PPCSA Ekurhuleni branch, the event commemorated Tambo’s contributions to SA’s fight for democracy and equality.
