The Boksburg SPCA is in need of the community’s assistance as they face a shortage of food for the many cats and kittens in their care.
According to Sue Beadon, the society’s secretary, the shelter is left with only a single box of wet cat food and no wet kitten food at all.
“The society is kindly appealing to their supporters and the local community to donate cans or sachets of cat and kitten food to help meet the immediate needs of the animals under their care.
These donations are vital for the continued wellbeing of the cats and kittens.”
Furthermore, Beadon said that the society is also in need of blankets.
The SPCA is dependent on support from caring individuals and businesses to keep their operations running smoothly.
