“While the demonstration is not a city-organised or work-related activity, the city has implemented additional safety measures to protect employees rendering services and residents visiting municipal offices.
“Our priority remains the safety of the public and staff and ensuring that normal operations proceed without disruption,” explained metro spokesperson Zweli Dlamini.
