Pink ribbons are the international symbol of breast cancer awareness.

Hanita Naidoo: I have lost a few family members to breast cancer, who also used experimental treatment. People should be more informed about breast cancer and counselling that’s available for grieving family members.

Heilla Huyser: The government should do more regarding accessible treatment for people who do not have medical aid to get tested for breast cancer.

June Enoch: There should be more education about breast cancer. It’s important so that people know what warning signs to look out for.

Carmen Prins: There should be more education at places such as festivals where they will be able to reach a lot of people.
