I recently went through a nightmare ordeal at one of the government institutions and have decided to take up the crusade on behalf of the public who won’t or don’t complain.
I would also like to issue a general warning to all public servants on behalf of the public that we will no longer tolerate substandard service.
Serve or get out the way.
The dictionary defines public service as “a service performed for the benefit of the public”. Read it again.
Therefore public servants applied for the job and accepted the terms and conditions with which the job came, and get paid every month to do the job.
So public servants, do the job to the best of your ability, or resign.
After all, you surely knew the public would be difficult to deal with.
Public servants, if you are guilty of poor service and I come across you, I will leave no stone unturned to ensure that you are exposed and dealt with appropriately.
If your immediate boss or his boss is the problem, I will expose them.
A job is not a right, it is a privilege. It is also a choice, and a choice as to whether you want to work there or not.
Yes jobs are scarce, so look after yours by doing it.
Yes, if we find good service we will be highlighting this too, because there is also good service which goes unnoticed.
So you may be thinking just who am I.
I am simply a concerned citizen who along with many others have had enough of poor service.
