Rangers and TotalNet make a clean sweep

The second round is scheduled to run until November.

Rangers A outshined Brakpan during their Ekurhuleni Netball Association (ENA) Super League match in Atlasville on June 6.

Rangers won the match by 39-19, after leading 22-11 at halftime.

In another match that took place on the very same day, Total Net thrashed Barcelona with a score of 37-18.

Commenting on the game, league convener Elzabe Gertenbach said both teams showed lots of skills and resilience.

“It was a tough game. Barcelona and TotalNet sported brilliant defenders,” said Gertenbach.

Gertenbach indicated that TotalNet has been at the top of the log since the league started.

The league got underway on April 10 and is set to run until July 31. A total of 362 netball games were scheduled for the first round.

According to Gertenbach, who is also the head coach of Freakz, the winners of the first round will proceed to play in the National Netball League called the Gauteng Twizza, with the playoffs scheduled in July. The second round is scheduled to run until November.
