More outstanding performances by BAS
The swimmers brought home 37 medals for the club.
Swimmers from the Boksburg Aquatic Saints Swimming and Lifesaving Club (BAS) flew their club’s flag at the South African Regional/Provincial Championships in Hillcrest recently.
BAS finished fourth, with only eight swimmers competing in this event. The swimmers brought home 37 medals – 12 gold, 16 silver and nine bronze.
The medal takers are as follows: Hayley Beling (two golds, five silvers and one bronze), Nicole Beling (one gold, three silvers and two bronze), Amy Botha (one gold, three silvers and one bronze), Candice Kruger (one gold, four silvers, two bronze), Trent Norton (one silver and one bronze), Divan Pretorius (three golds), and Hannah Sandilands (three golds and three bronze).
