Benoni pugilist Prichad ‘Gennaro’ Dube claimed a breakthrough victory when he ended Sanele Sogcwayi’s undefeated run in their featherweight contest via a majority decision at Emperors Palace on July 11. Pre-fight favourite Sogcwayi, from Edenvale, came into the fight with a 5-0 record, but Dube took him the distance with referees scoring the fight 56-56, 58-55 and 57-56 in his favour for a first professional win.
