Vosloorus hip-hop artists wants to educate and inspire his listeners

His plan is to transform the music industry.

Hip-hop artist Nkosinathi ‘Yung Sabi’ Mdluli from Vosloorus said his music is educational and inspirational.

The artist, who began his musical journey in 2015 when he released a six-song EP entitled Raw Masterpiece, said he ventured into music to share the life experiences that built his character.

“I write music that resonates with every South African, especially young people. I want them to develop their character and know who they are by just listening to my music. They should believe anything is possible and not allow their current problems to define their future.

“My message to the youth is that they must chase their dreams because their dreams will save their lives. And they mustn’t allow anyone to discourage them.”

Yung Sabi was a fan of music from a young age.

“I was reciting the lyrics of songs by local and American hip-hop artists when I was very young and grew fond of this music. Today I use my talent for my benefit – to express how I feel.

“Since I started my career in music, I have released four mixtapes. I am working on several new projects; one of them is to drop an EP soon because my main priority is to refine my craft and stay focused. I have grown accustomed to dropping EPs every year.”

He wouldn’t trade music for anything else.

“Music is my life. There’s nothing on earth I’m more confident in. I plan to make a difference and bring positive change to the music industry.
