Learners to showcase creativity on energy saving art competition
Applications will remain open between February 26 and March 7.

An exciting opportunity exists for budding artists from non-paying public primary schools to showcase their artistic flair on their understanding of energy-saving themes.
Each participating school will be required to design or draw a poster indicating their understanding of energy efficiency and renewable energy.
Five schools per region will be shortlisted, and the overall top three schools will be awarded in kind prices as follows:
First place – R20 000
Second place – R15 000
Third place – R10 000.
Applications will remain open between February 26 and March 7.
Competition and submission will take place from March 10-14.
Interested schools can submit their applications by attaching the school’s details such as the school’s name and address, and the school representative’s name and surname through email attention to Jabulile.kgomo@ekurhuleni.gov.za or call 011 999 – 2544.
According to etro spokesperson, Zweli Dlamini. this will promote the knowledge on energy efficiency, energy sustainability and renewable energy.
