The East Rand Mall has glided into the 21st century in style, after the establishment concluded a revamping process that has greatly expanded the centre’s offering to its prestigious pool of clients and customers.

The mall unveiled its new look on Wednesday and held a pre-launch in the evening, in the mall’s oval court.

Commenting on why the centre needed a revamp, Petra Foord, East Rand Mall’s general manager, revealed that the mall needed a modern look that would give it energy in a consumer market that is getting younger and more vibrant.

Petra Foord, East Rand Mall’s general manager, spoke about the revamping and re-launching of the mall and added that they want to remain the destination of choice for the East Rand community.

“It also needed a more upmarket and refreshed look, which will go a long way in minimising inconvenience to our customers and tenants alike, which was one of our biggest challenges,” Foord explained.
