Second-hand dealers take note

Brakpan police have advised all local second-hand dealers wishing to renew or apply for licences to ensure they include the following documentation when applying:

* application form

* three business cards

* two colour ID photos

* certified copy of owner’s ID

* certified copies of employees’ IDs

* health inspector’s report

* sketch plan of premises

* lease agreement

* association certificate

* certified copy of business tax documents

* certified copy of CC registration documents

* certified copy of VAT documents

* certified copy of PAYE documents

These must be certified at the police station, and fingerprint and statement forms are provided by police.
