Making Brakpan a better place
A motivational breakfast, hosted by Brakpan police, was recently held at Cosy Corner Pub and Grill, in Brenthurst.
The aim of the event was to strengthen the relationship between the local SAPS and the Brakpan community, and to affect positive change in the town.
In attendance was the SAPS Women’s Network, Brakpan SAPS Men 4 Change, Brakpan Community Policing Forum and various representatives from local churches and organisations.
Among these was Heart-Light street/teen challenge ,a Christian group who specialise in assisting abused woman, children and teenagers.
They also provide counselling to victims of crime, violence, trauma and grief, run feeding schemes and assist with services for the aged.
