Weekend crime round-up
According to information received, the following crimes were reported to Brakpan police over the weekend (April 17, 18 and 19):
Friday
A motorcycle was stolen in Duncan Street.
Along McMillan Road, a garage was broken into and five tyres were slashed and various power tools stolen.
A business along 12th Road was broken into, and sweets, glasses, candles and other household items were stolen.
Saturday
A vehicle was stolen on the corner of Wenden and Park streets.
An attempted hijacking occurred in Pomegranate Avenue.
Sunday
A motorcycle was stolen in Strange Avenue.
