Unwanted guests sneak around the neighbourhood

Minnebron resident writes by email: It has to come to our attention that there are some unwanted guests in the Minnebron area.

They cause property damage to pre-cast walls. I’m missing one pillar in my wall that has been broken out. We have fixed it multiple times now and it seems these individuals just won’t give up.

I have been getting information from my domestic that people are sneaking into our yard looking for my dogs.

Again it seems they are targeting a specific breed. I own three American Pit Bull Terriers — very loving and placid dogs.

These dogs love human interaction and that seems to be the problem.

This is a real concern and we, as people from Minnebron, ask that the public report any suspicious activity.

We love our animals just as much as we love our children.

Please be on the lookout for individuals who are looking to cause mischief. We are really getting worried for the safety of our family.

If something does not get done in conjunction with this, the law will leave the community no option but to act on their own.

SAPS please assist in this area. Not just during the night but during the day as well, as it is then when these people are spotted.
