SAPS host mass ride against crime
The SAPS Brakpan Cluster and the Brakpan Community Policing Forum (CPF) will host a 70km mass ride against crime on Saturday, November 7.

The Brakpan Cluster comprises the Brakpan, Tsakane, Boksburg, Boksburg North and Reiger Park police stations.
The mass ride will start at 7.30am to depart at 8am from Carnival City and will end at Annemarie’s Pub and Grill on the corner of Turf and Cason roads in Boksburg.
“The key points of awareness for this roadshow are to stop the killing of police officers, to show that bikers and the CPF stand united against crime, to stop woman and child abuse and to stop drugs and alcohol abuse,” said Capt Joep Joubert, spokesperson for the Brakpan police station.
The entrance fee is R20 and includes a cloth badge.
“Everybody is welcome to join us. The proceeds will be used to help the CPF to fight and curb crime,” added Joubert.
