Ekurhuleni to welcome new babies on Christmas and New Year’s

‘Tis the season to be jolly and the Ekurhuleni Metro will share in the joy of welcoming Christmas and New Year’s babies at six identified hospitals around Ekurhuleni.

The first five babies born on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day in each of the hospitals to be visited will receive essential baby hampers.

The member of mayoral committee (MMC) for Health and Social Services, clr Makhosazana Mabaso will officiate the gift handover ceremony.

On Christmas day, December 25, the MMC will start at the Thelle Mogoerane Hospital in Vosloorus followed by Bertha Gxowa Hospital in Germiston and Tambo Memorial hospital in Boksburg.

The MMC will continue with the gift ceremony on New Year’s Day, January 1, at Pholosong Hospital in Tsakane followed by the Far East Rand Hospital in Brakpan and the Tembisa Hospital.
