Local teen collects donations for Mother’s Nest
A local teen is collecting needed items for the Mother's Nest children's home, and asks the public to assist.
Local teen Joshua Oelofse, a Grade Eight learner at Hoërskool Die Anker, is collecting necessities for Mother’s Nest children’s home in Brenthurst.
He has a basket at Cosy Corner, on Zeeman Street, where the public can drop off toiletries, school necessities, non-perishable food and treats for the festive season.
The basket will be at Cosy Corner until December 30.
“We don’t want cash donations, but rather the needed items. We are also welcoming items like food, clothes and adult diapers for old age homes in need,” said Oelofse.
For more information, Joshua’s mother Petro Oelofse, can be contacted on 076 147 6032.
