Keep children cool

As the country continues to experience excruciating heat, it is vital for parents to find ways to keep their children cool this summer.

  • Get the children to make ice collies that they can put in the refrigerator and pop out when the need arises.
  • Make sure your children drink enough water daily to keep hydrated.
  • Take them to the pool where they can spend some time in the water, however don’t forget to put some sun cream on them.
  • Switch on the fan while they are indoors.
  • Dress the children in light clothing for them to keep cool.
  • Switch off light bulbs at night as these may cause the temperature in your home to increase.

Though these might not do much to ensure children keep cool this summer, it might make it a bit easier for them to bear the heat.
