According to information received, the following crimes were reported to Brakpan police over the weekend:
• Friday – A business situated along Kingsway Avenue was burgled of a laptop.
A woman was robbed of her purse by a pickpocket at about 11am.
The woman was walking along Kingsway Avenue when two men bumped into her.
• Saturday – A green and white Nissan double cab bakkie was stolen from an address along Venter Street, Dalview.
• Sunday – A television set and a music system were stolen from a home in Gericke Street, Minnebron.
A woman was robbed of her cellphone while walking along Van Der Walt Road, in Dalview, at 3.30am.
Two men confronted her, assaulted her and ran off with the phone.
