In a bid to nurture the development of children’s motor abilities and athletic skills, the City of Ekurhuleni will host this year’s instalment of Ekurhuleni Kiddies Games at Mehlareng Stadium in Tembisa today (Saturday).
Over 1 000 children between the ages of four and six years old will participate in the games with a total of 45 crèches per region registered to partake.
Activities of the day will include ball throwing, ball hopping, ring throwing, ball kicking, ball dribbling, cycling and a balancing act.
The Ekurhuleni Kiddies Games commences with a competition amongst crèches from across the City at Customer Care Area level, then advances to regional games which then culminates to metro wide games.
