Weekend crime round-up

Two cars were stolen on Saturday.

According to information received, the following crimes were reported to Brakpan police over the weekend:

• Friday – A home in Pienaar Street, in Brenthurst, was burgled of three television sets, jewellery, two pillows and a shawl.

A silver Volkswagen Microbus parked on the property was also stolen.

A residence in Hamilton Avenue was burgled of a television set and DVD player.

A cellphone was stolen during a break-in at a property along Voortrekker Road.

Thieves stole speakers and other sound equipment from a car parked at an address along Gladstone Avenue.

A toolbox was stolen from a vehicle parked along Voortrekker Road.

• Saturday – Two cars were stolen

A white Toyota Corolla was stolen from the corner of Queen Avenue and High Street, and a white gold Land Rover was stolen from Heyns Street, in Brenthurst.

Cellphones to the value of R120 000 were stolen during a burglary at a shop in Mall@Carnival.

• Sunday – A silver Gomoto scooter was stolen from an address along Germains Avenue.

A car parked along Helmstok Road, in Dalpark, was broken into.

A wallet, tools, a laptop and an external hard drive were stolen from the vehicle.

Burglars stole a television set, laptops and other household items from a home along Kirkland Street, in Dalview.

A cordless telephone was stolen from a business situated along Rangeview Road, in Dalpark.
