Ekurhuleni commemorates Youth Day with music, drama, dance and poetry

Entrance is free.

In commemorating the 40th anniversary of the Soweto Uprising, the City of Ekurhuleni in partnership with Sibikwa Arts Centre will bring the O.R Tambo Precinct alive with music, drama, dance and poetry today (Thursday).

The event takes place from 11am to 3pm.

The day promises to be a wonderful experience, a fun family picnic setup with activities of the day including drumming circles, storytelling sessions and many other exciting art experiences for children and parents.

Entrance is free and strictly no alcohol is allowed at the venue.

The O.R Tambo Precinct is situated in Wattville.
