Police raid leaves taverns dry
Liquor seized from establishments trading without a liquor licence.
Liquor to the approximate value of R300 000 was confiscated from local taverns during a special police operation, on Saturday evening, last week.
The operation, which was conducted by the Ekurhuleni SAPS Central Cluster, saw the seizure of liquor from establishments that were found to be trading without a liquor licence.
