Ekurhuleni mayor Clr Mzwandile Masina will announce his mayoral committee this morning (Wednesday) at a special council meeting in the Germiston Council Chamber at 10am.

“People can expect the principle of continuity and change to apply when the mayor announces the mayoral committee so that you have fresh ideas and experience in the charge to change the lives of the people of Ekurhuleni for the better,” said mayoral spokesperson Zweli Dlamini.

“There is also the issue of introducing young blood because the executive mayor is a firm believer that the ANC in government must forever regenerate hence the generational mix.”

Dlamini added that gender parity will also apply as has been the case in the past.
