Choral competition to pay tribute to Oliver Tambo

The competition is held to celebrate the musical life of stalwart OR Tambo.

The stage is set for various choirs across Ekurhuleni to compete and showcase their phenomenal talent at the epic choral music competition taking place this Saturday (October 22) at the Thokoza Auditorium.

The competition is held to celebrate the musical life of stalwart Oliver Reginald Tambo.

Tambo was renowned for his flair as a music composer, song arranger, skillful producer and choir director.

The competition will be assembled into three categories: Inter Church Choirs, Adult Community Choirs and School Choirs.

The competition starts at 9am.

The Thokoza Auditorium is situated along Khumalo Street, in Thokoza.
