Man nabbed for dagga

Stop-and-searches are conducted on a daily basis.

A 32-year-old man was arrested in Tsakane on Wednesday for possession of dagga.

According to Sgt Lerato Mngomezulu, Tsakane SAPS spokesperson, the man was nabbed in Extension 11 just after 5pm.

“The man was stopped and searched and dagga ‘pokes’ were found in his possession,” she said.

Mngomezulu told the Herald that stop-and-searches are conducted on a daily basis in Tsakane in an effort to rid the area of drugs, illegal goods and dangerous weapons.
