Cases reported:

• Business robbery: 1
• Attempted theft of motor vehicle: 1
• General theft: 4
• Assault GBH: 1
• Attempted residential burglary: 1

Arrests:

• None

Break-ins:

• Store in Mall@Carnival.

Stolen: Cellphones, tablets, cameras, hard drive devices and a laptop.

Stolen vehicles:

• Escombe Avenue: green Kawasaki motorbike.

• Lapping Street, in Brenthurst: white car trailer.

Other:

• A car parked at an address along Reid Street, in Dalview, yesterday (Monday) was tampered with.

The vehicle’s driver side door was forced open and the ignition was damaged.

The incident took place between 9.50am and 11.15am.

A case of attempted motor vehicle theft was opened.

• A shop situated along George Troskie Street, in Minnebron, was robbed by three men, yesterday.

The robbers entered the shop at about 10.30am and held staff at gunpoint.

Two cellphones, cash and cigarettes were stolen.
