Weekend crime round-up

A dog on the property was poisoned.

According to information received, the following crimes were reported to Brakpan police over the weekend:

• Friday – A motorbike (make and model not provided) was stolen from an address along Taft Avenue.

The bike was parked in a garage on the property.

* A computer tower was stolen during a break-in at a house along Cycad Street, in Dalpark.

* A car parked along Prince George Avenue was broken into, and a handbag was stolen.

The bag contained an ID book, medicine and perfume.

* A red Toyota Conquest was stolen from Springs Road, in Maryvlei.

• Saturday – A white Hyundai H100 was stolen from Hendrik Potgieter Road, in Dalview.

The vehicle was found abandoned and damaged a short distance away.

* A white Nissan X-Trail was stolen from Nossob Street, in Dalpark.

* Thieves stole a Big Boy scooter (colour not provided) from an address along McCullum Avenue, in Brakpan North.

A dog on the property was poisoned.

• Sunday – No information pertaining to incidents that took place on Sunday was received.
