New recruits wanted in SAPS

The SAPS is hiring.

Gauteng police have embarked on a recruitment drive and aspiring police officers are invited to apply for enlistment in the basic police development learning programme.

Applicants should be young, physically and mentally fit and dedicated to serving the country.

The requirements are:

• Be a South African citizen of which documentary proof must be furnished.

• Be between the ages of 18 and 30 on or before March 31, 2017.

• Be in possession of a Grade 12 certificate or national certificate.

• No visible tattoos.

The closing date for applications is July 19.

Application forms can be collected from Lieut-Col Hilton Henstock at the Brakpan Police Station.
