Crime Awareness Day at Mall@Carnival

The Mall@Carnival, in conjunction with the SAPS and EMPD, held a Crime Awareness Day on Friday, last week.

The Brakpan SAPS handed out pamphlets and DVDs, providing safety tips to the shoppers.

Members of the EMPD were also present during the day and officers were seen riding on horses throughout the parking area.

A vehicle, parked in front of entrance six, was also used as a demonstration to make shoppers more vigilant and to not leave valuable items in vehicles or to ensure that the items are kept out of sight.
