Emirates Lions meet-and-greet
Emirates Lions rugby fans can meet members of their beloved team at Carnival City. The Lions players will be at Carnival City’s Mardi Gras Theatre for the signing session from 2pm to 4pm.
Big Bang Bollywood Fusion Nite
The Big Bang Bollywood Fusion Nite, at Emperors Palace, is a tantalising evening of Mumbai style street food, delectable festive cocktails and dancing the night away to the rhythm of Bollywood Dance Music. The theme is ‘Masquerade’ (no tekkies, T-shirts or golf shirts) and no under 18s. The event kicks off at 8pm in the Red Roman Shed.

Smurfs Save Spring
South African audiences will soon be transported into the magical world of colourful mushroom houses and little blue people when The Smurfs Live on Stage – Smurfs Save Spring takes to the stage at the Theatre of Marcellus at Emperors Palace. The Smurfs Live on Stage is a magical adventure that will see the Smurfs battle Gargamel and save Mother Nature, showing the power of family and true team spirit.

Fool and the Gang
Fool and the Gang, a multilingual stand-up comedy show, will take place at Carnival City’s Mardi Gras Theatre. Comedians to be featured include Isaac Gampu, Jay Boogie, Qatha Khuzwayo, Ntosh Madlingozi and Pele Pele. The show starts at 8pm.
Domestic workers course
Hirsch’s Carnival, situated at 22 Nossob Street, Dalpark, will host a Domestic Workers Course. The topic is ‘Cleaning with Lemon Juice’. The event starts at 9.30am for 10am. Spreading the love
Mall@Carnival will host a ‘Spreading the Love’ campaign which will see people making as many sandwiches as they can in 67 minutes in aid of those less fortunate in the community. Sonja and Tjokker
Little ones are in for a treat when Sonja and Tjokker take to the stage at Carnival City’s Mardi Gras Theatre. The Sonja and Tjokker live performance is a 60-minute action-packed, fun-filled, bilingual musical theatre production for pre-primary and primary school children.
