Capt Pearl van Staad, spokesperson for Brakpan SAPS, told the Herald that a man fled with toolboxes after breaking into the premises of a business along Voortrekker Road at about 9am.
“The suspect ran towards a nearby residence and was caught by an officer from Secure Tech,” she said.
“Police were called and detained the suspect for possession of housebreak-in implements and possession of suspected stolen goods.”
