Community unites against crime and drugs

A walk against drugs and crime, organised by the Brakpan CPF and Youth Desk was well supported on Saturday morning (16 June).

The walk commenced at the Brakpan Taxi Rank and enthusiastic participants walked to the Mkhankwa Village informal settlement displaying anti-crime and drug banners and posters. Seen here are (from left): Ntando Magaisa, Tshepiso Khosi and Lebogang Khoaripe who supported the event.

The event was organised in honour of Youth Day.

Members of the Brakpan SAPS, CPF and Youth Desk embraced the event which included youth talks, performing arts as well as other recreational activities.
