Last call for donations
Residents can drop items off at an official collection point at VC Spar in Dalview.
Residents who would like to support the Herald’s annual Winter Woolies Collection project have until tomorrow (Saturday) to help spread a little warmth this winter.
The project, now in its 13th year, sees the collection of blankets, socks, woollen hats, gloves and scarves.
The Herald then distributes these items to various welfare organisations in Brakpan.

New and knitted socks, hats, gloves and scarves, or any new or old blankets in a good, clean condition, will be accepted.
Residents can drop items off at an official collection point at VC Spar in Dalview.
The Herald politely requests that residents do not donate any other items or clothing for this project.
